Small and local businesses struggle with online discoverability — not just on Google, but increasingly on AI assistants that summarize answers before a user ever clicks through — and most directory platforms don't structure listing data in a way that's citation-ready for either.
Solution
We built WorldBizDir, a production Next.js 16 + Supabase directory covering 68 countries and 55+ categories, with SEO-indexed category and country pages, free business listings, search, reviews, and a schema-marked blog engine specifically targeting how businesses get surfaced by Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT — pairing the directory with the structured data and content strategy needed to work as an AI-era citation network.
